To make your experience a success, dressing appropriately is essential. Wear comfortable gear. Layering is necessary especially when you’re sweating and when the wind hits you at the summit. The base layer will absorb moisture from the skin and keeps body temperature at a steady state. It is advisable to wear synthetic material even your undergarments. Jackets and thick hiking pants are for insulation. This layer traps warmth. The outer layer is the shell that blocks rain and wind. Wear rain pants and should be breathable to let sweat escape.
